Rosé Majeur : 91 points ine the WineAccess (n.c.)
"There may be no more appealing Champagne package, brilliantly displaying the essential gentle nature of this wine. Others pack more nerve and complexity this is the one to charm. Very bright, pretty, pastel pink-salmon colour. Mild, gentle nose of cherry-raspberry muffin or pastry, with a touch of flint. Light to medium bodied, very delicate yet penetrating with a dry finish and very good length."
Rosé Majeur : 91 points in the Wine Enthusiast (Dec. 2007)
"Onion skin veering to pink color for this stylishly presented wine from AYALA, now owned by Bollinger. It has some fresh raspberry fruits, but goes further with its seriously crisp, dry acidity and delicate, elegant balance with structure and mature flavors "
Blanc de Blancs 1999 : 90 points in the Wine Spectator (Dec. 2007)
"Supple and harmonious, this is a pleasure as much for its textural component as its apple, honey, lemon and toast notes. Vibrant, finishing with a mouthwatering impression. Drink now through 2018. – Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator of Dec. 31, 2007)"
Brut Majeur : 91 points in the Wine Enthusiast - Editor's choice ! (Dec. 2007)
"A beautifully balanced non-vintage, in the lighter style that is AYALA's hallmark. It is fresh, but shows a good amount of blend with older wines to give weight and complexity. The green fruit flavours are well balanced with secondary aromas of almonds, green berries and lively but not dominant acidity."
Brut Millésimé Champagne 1999 : 91 points in the Wine Spectator (Nov. 2007)
"Deep and intense, featuring candied berry, dried citrus, whole grain toast and gingerbread notes. Builds on the palate to a long, resonant finish. Well balanced, with a chalky feel in the aftertaste. Drink now through 2015.."
Rosé Majeur : 89 points in the Wine Spectator (Oct. 2007)
"A firm, linear style, this etches the palate with dried cherry, yeast and spice notes. On the dry side, with a resonant finish. A vinous rosé suited for the table. Drink now through 2009."
Brut Majeur : 16/20 in the Revue du Vin de France (Dec. 2006 / Jan. 2007)
"The wine is perfectly made and balanced and possesses a beautiful personality with a very savoury character and delicate minerality on the finish. A wonderful aperitif champagne … (16/20 is a “Grand Vin” or “Great Wine” on the RVF rating scale)."
